This year (2011) the Rotary Clubs of Trent Bridge and Carlton again held a major fund raising event in support of local charities MacMillan Cancer Support and the Nottingham Hospitals Charity’s Cystic Fibrosis Campaign.

Brewin Dolphin, investment managers, under the leadership of Mrs Gillian Hibbert have been supporting this Rotary Charitable Duck Race event for several years and Gillian was pleased that their support had helped raise £15,000 for the excellent worthy local charities ‘Macmillan Cancer Support’ and the ‘Nottingham University Hospitals Charity’, contributions to the latter going towards a new cystic fibrosis unit.

The Rotary Clubs of Trent Bridge and Carlton have now been organising this event, co-ordinated with the Nottingham Annual Festival, for many years, and the continued support from all those from in and around the Nottingham area is very much appreciated.

The team at Brewin Dolphin pride themselves on personal service, offering a bespoke service to  clients, which include charities, pensions, trusts and individuals.  It is just one of the many locally based companies that provide substantial support to the Annual Duck Race Event, to whom the two Rotary Clubs say ‘many thanks’.
